The fundamental rights of the accused, we get a fair and speedy trial. That is about all that I remember from my studies of government this week. I am certain that I messed up atomically on my a.p. government test today. I had named the wrong amendment when I had written the essay portion; I used the insides of the 6th amendment and named it the 5th amendment. What an awful and stupid thing for me to do.
I am honestly very disappointed in myself. If I had just went through my note cards once more I would have been certain that the 6th amendment stated that accused has a right to a fair and speedy trial. But instead I ate my chocolate chip cookie and thought, man this test will be nothing. I am almost certain that I am going to fail it. I hope that my teacher does not think I am an incompetent fool that just uses the tiny bit of knowledge she has and haphazardly stitches it together.
Completely disappointed, not only does it disappoint me but I wish there was something better that I could do to make everything better! Nope all I can do is study and hope that my senior year is the best year in the world for me. I will hopefully be one of the first people in the nucleus of my family to be going to college right after high school. I had always dreamed of going to the University of Chicago but in my heart I feel that I am not good enough for such a wonderful school. Even though there is not a good chance of me going to that college I am still dreaming even when the deadline for my application is only a month away.
