The populace is one of images

The time has come for me to look on at the country and think, we are a viewing country. Maybe things don't look good. But we still look, we look and find and scower for something new. Looking is what we do, do we read too often probably not. It is just apart of the American way of life. Maybe it is not that our attention spans are diminishing, but that we would prefer to all take the same amount of time viewing an image rather than taking varying amounts of time to read an article or page of literature.

The different ways that we communicate also say something about the American culture. It is diverse, and old. There is no definite American identity because we are all different, so very different. It is easier to identify a small group than an entire country. To segregate between small groups is so simple, even to segregate by saying the Americans, Germans, and Spaniards. What I am getting at is that when I looked at the statistics for my picture blog, both graphs showed an immense amount of people who live in America viewing it while Eastern Hemisphere countries seemed to be more interested in my writing blog. There are always differences and maybe this is too much of a hasty generalization, but I think I am using good data.

I hope my conclusion was not non sequitur. While writing this I am also trying to synthesize my new vocabulary terms so that I am prepared for the A.P. language test this coming May.
